About Me

Deb Christensen, M.A.

Nature and animals have always been a large part of my life. Living in Arizona, I’d often ride my foxtrotter Razz in the Sonoran desert with my beloved Akita Kimi running alongside. These moments gave me a sense of great joy and a profound appreciation for how nature sustains the spirit and reminds the heart of its true place and purpose. Then, after many years as a counselor and therapist, I retired in 2019 following a stroke. At , As a result, I faced significant life changes and challenges: unexpected physical limitations, loss of activities I had once loved and done effortlessly, unaccustomed free time, as well as a disheartening loss of meaning and purpose in life.

At that point, a good friend attended a life-coach training and suggested I look into it for myself, which I did. I signed up right away, and life coaching has been my best decision ever made. Today, both my work and my personal life derive from the same principles I first encountered riding in the Sonoran desert.

When I see a bright smile and hear the sigh of relief as clients first recognize their own intrinsic value, hidden strengths, and natural beauty, I know that coaching has become my perfect way to serve others.

    My Philosophy

We all have internal resources and wisdom that we often don’t even know are there for us. Good coaching means that I will never give you advice or answers, but I will always help you discover your own strengths and solutions. Sometimes, a slight shift in perception can move us from anxiety and feeling “stuck” into the sense of love and trust needed to open our lives to joy, hope, and a sense of renewed possibility.
